Pin-Study: Suspended Seating ðŠðŠīâïļ
May 02, 2025
Welcome to Pin-Study—a series where I take a Pinterest pin that catches my eye and bring it to life in 3D. This week’s pin is all about GEO. That is, geometry. I wanted to focus less on perfecting the materials and more on the most efficient way to model this *complicated* structure.
I modeled this one quickly—not because it’s simple (it’s not!), but because done is often better than perfect. When you're working from inspiration, the goal isn’t to get every single detail exact. It's about practice!
This process keeps me creatively loose and reminds me that design doesn’t have to be precious. It can be playful, intuitive, and fast—especially when your goal is to practice, create content, or spark fresh ideas.
Scroll the original pin. Sketch your version. Keep it moving.
